Trysil Hostel opened in May 2006 and the hostel is beautifully located next to the river Trysil. Nearby you will find a new fishingcentre with playground, BBQ, sauna and river boats. During the summertime Trysil is a great place for cycling, canoeing, fishing and rafting. Mountain bikes can be rented at the hostel! Trysil is also an eldorado for ski-enthusiasts, and there is a free bus from the hostel to the slopes. 	Winter in Trysil! From the cabin window you can see Trysilfjellet, the largest ski resort in Norway. Practically right outside your front door there is a wide range of exciting skiing experiences to choose from.
	Summer in Trysil ! During the summer season, Trysil has a tremendous diversity of events and activities to choose from. There are excellent fishing opportunities both in the Trysil river and in other local lakes. You can experience magnificent nature on a quiet and peaceful canoe ride down the Trysil river. For persons looking for a bit more fast-paced excitement, we have canyoning, rafting and kayak tours. Trysil has a rich fauna, and we organise beaver and elk safaris on foot, by canoe and by buss. And an new 18-hole golf course.
